What you will be doing: Strong understanding of power electronics topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC & DC/AC).

  • Proficiency with power electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power suppliers, load banks, emulators etc.).
  • Experience in developing test methods, developing test plans, conducting high-power tests, trouble shooting, problem solving and writing test reports.
  • Experience in data acquisition, post processing, analyzing test results, and presenting results in a meaningful way.
  • Experience in reducing EMI during tests.
  • Collaborate and communicate with technicians and other engineers.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Essential: College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.
  • Experience embedded controls using MATLAB Simulink
  • Power Electronics experience
  • MS office suite solid knowledge is required.
  • Humble, and teachable
  • Effective and collaborative team player
  • Good communicator – written and verbal
  • Preferred experience: Automotive engine
  • Hybrid vehicle
  • PCAN view, Canalyzer, etc.
  • ​General electric vehicle knowledge: Battery Pack/System, Traction, Power Electronics, EV charging/AC/DC Fast Charging/ Vehicle-to-Grid type of feature
  • Product Failure Mode Avoidance
