The Barings Analyst Program offers recent graduates a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to private equity through co-investment and fund-to-fund strategies with the Diversified Alternative Equity team. During the program, Analysts work closely with senior investment professionals to support underwriting, portfolio management, and market research across a range of asset classes. The program begins with formal training and quickly transitions into live deal work, mentorship, and professional development through Lunch & Learns, networking, and team-building events. Analysts are fully integrated into the team as value-add contributors, with top performers considered for full-time roles upon completion. Primary Responsibilities Assist in underwriting and evaluating investment opportunities across alternative asset classes Build financial models and conduct valuation analyses Support portfolio monitoring, reporting, and amendment processes Conduct market research and participate in due diligence efforts Engage in training, mentorship, and cross-functional team activities Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or related field Graduation date of May or June 2026 Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA Strong analytical, modeling, and writing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data sources and financial publications Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines Willingness to travel (
