We have an immediate opening for a scientist with expertise in leveraging droplet microfluidics for high-throughput cell-based assays. This highly motivated scientist will be part of a highly multidisciplinary team (AI/ML, synthetic biology, engineering), who work collaboratively to develop solutions for intractable challenges facing humanity and the planet.
The successful applicant has deep and demonstrated expertise in leveraging droplet microfluidics to interrogate single mammalian cells. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow and influence in a dynamic company focused on cutting-edge of protein engineering technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and perform microfluidic-enabled ultrahigh throughput cell-based assay for small molecule or biologics screening
- Experience in cell biology, cell culture, and culturing mammalian cells in droplets, microcapsules, or hydrogels
- Experience in molecular biology techniques including cell line engineering is desired, but not required
- Experience with antibody engineering is desired, but not required
- Analyze the data, and report to internal (and occasionally to external stakeholders)
- PhD in Bioengineering, Physics, Biochemistry, or related fields is required
- 2+ years of postdoctoral experience in academia or industrial setting is a plus
