The Armani Group is one of the leading fashion and luxury goods groups in the world today with 10,500 direct employees, 12 production plants and more than 2,704 boutiques in 60 countries around the world. It designs, manufactures, distributes and retails fashion and lifestyle products including apparel, accessories, eyewear, watches, jewelry, home interiors, fragrances and cosmetics under a range of brand names: Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, and Armani Exchange.


We are looking for students who want to gain hands-on experience within the world of Armani. You will be learning the foundations of the brand and culture. Our program will immerse students in an inclusive environment with the conditions to set them up for success. This program will be held at the Giorgio Armani corporate office in NYC.


The Giorgio Armani Internship Network Program Fall of 2024 will run from September 16, 2024 through November 22, 2024


The Visual Merchandising Intern Training Program is designed to provide hands-on experience and comprehensive exposure to various aspects of visual merchandising in both retail and wholesale environments. This program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of professionals, including a Production Project Manager, a Senior In-Store Visual Manager, and a Digital Project Manager. The intern will gain valuable insights into the creative, strategic, and operational processes that drive successful visual merchandising and product presentation across multiple channels.


Key Responsibilities:


Collaboration with the Production Project Manager:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of visual merchandising projects, from concept to installation.
  • Support the coordination of materials, timelines, and logistics for in-store and window displays.
  • Participate in site visits to ensure quality and consistency of visual presentations.


Learning from the Senior In-Store Visual Manager:

  • Gain hands-on experience in both retail and wholesale visual merchandising.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining visual displays that align with brand standards and marketing strategies.
  • Analyze store layouts and customer flow to optimize product placement and enhance the shopping experience.


Engagement with the Digital Project Manager:

  • Contribute to the creation of digital content for product knowledge training, including videos, presentations, and other multimedia resources.
  • Learn how to translate in-store visual strategies into digital formats that support online training and e-learning platforms.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ways to communicate visual merchandising concepts digitally.


Who You Are

  • Demonstrates a keen interest in understanding business and organizational goals, and a desire to learn about the world of Armani
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous work experience or internships in related field is a plus


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate/Graduate program
  • Unpaid internship | Proof of school credit is required
  • Must be available a minimum of 3 days in office
