Maintenance & Reliability Manager

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Grand Rapids, MI (relocation available if needed)


A rapidly growing Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company is looking for a new Maintenance & Relaibility Manager with expertise in aseptic manufactruign techniques. This is a full time on site position in Grand Rapids, MI.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the maintenance of sterilizers, fillers, HVAC systems, etc.
  • Creating schedules for regular inspections, servicing, and calibration to minimize downtime.
  • Taking charge of diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions promptly to ensure smooth operations.
  • Making sure all maintenance activities adhere to cGMP and FDA regulations for aseptic manufacturing.
  • Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and modifications.
  • Forecasting expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and prioritizing expenditures effectively.
  • Ensuring critical spare parts are available to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of maintenance management experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of aseptic manufacturing, cGMP, and FDA regulations.
  • Proven track record in preventive maintenance program development.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and leadership abilities.
  • Budget and inventory management experience.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and CMMS is preferred.
