Payroll Processor

Job Title: Payroll Processor Location: Wall, New Jersey Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Processor to join our team onsite in Wall, New Jersey. The Payroll Processor will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations. Key Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees. Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, salary information, deductions, and tax withholdings. Verify timesheets, attendance records, and ensure proper calculation of overtime, bonuses, and other adjustments. Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues efficiently. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as required. Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure compliance. Assist in year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution. Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll and benefits-related matters. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Payroll Processor or similar role. Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Ability to work onsite in Wall, New Jersey. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RealGreen by workwave. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance in New Jersey.
