  • This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Candidates can start as early as 6:00 AM and work a full eight-hour day.
  • Standard Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


Overview

Our client is looking for five (5) Data Entry Clerks, working in a Mailroom environment, to separate, open, sort, and scan mail on a daily basis. The Data Entry Clerks will also be responsible for shipping and receiving office supplies and materials, weighing and preparing shipments, operating the postage meter, and picking up packages insides and outside the office - all the while leveraging data entry skills to track the incoming and outgoing materials. The data entry experience is critical – as this individual will opening claims-related mail, entering data (such as CPT codes, Diagnoses, ID Numbers, etc.) into the system, and sending this information to Claims Processors for review.

The role is designed for candidates who are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling a high volume of data entry and mailroom tasks efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Mailroom Duties:
  • Separate, open, sort, and scan mail daily.
  • Ship and receive office supplies and materials, including weighing, preparing shipments, and operating the postage meter.
  • Pick up and deliver packages inside and outside the office.
  • Manage and track incoming and outgoing materials using data entry skills.
  • Data Entry Tasks:
  • Open and process claims-related mail, entering critical data such as CPT codes, diagnoses, and ID numbers into the system.
  • Send entered information to Claims Processors for review.
  • Maintain high accuracy in data entry, with an expectation of processing 10 claims within 45 minutes.


Training

  • One week of training, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (schedule may vary), will be provided.


Required Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry.
  • At least 6 months experience with mailroom functions, including batching and scanning mail.
  • Advanced proficiency in data entry and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Dependable, team-oriented with a willingness to work onsite five (5) days per week.
