Job TitleBeach SupervisorJob DescriptionSummaryThis position oversees the outside beach area consisting of North (Resident Area) and South (Hotel Area)Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide an environment where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best, and advance.Understand any issues with each team member to provide coaching, retraining and communication of job expectationsBuild strong relationships, and coordinate, with all other departments.Ensure a positive environment with team members through the use of recognition and reward programs.Trains all incoming staff on Trump standards maintaining Four-Star Forbes levelMakes sure all opening & closing procedures are followed.Continually monitors all staff during the day to make sure our guests are being taken care of according to standards.Anticipates guests needs and ready to performing any duty that is required of team members.Helps management with inventory control of all essential beach needs.Ensure team members have knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours and operations of hotel outlets and services.Assist and maintain and supervise compliance and understanding of current SOPsOversees maintenance and upkeep of beach areasEnsures Inventories in beach area are up to parAssigns duties to employees and subordinates and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating proceduresAnswers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and servicesAssist and help create individual/ team goals ensuring that productivity meets guest and company expectations.Assist to ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, standard operating procedures, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.Attends all meetings that are required of the beach supervisor.Can use coaching & counseling techniques with all team members following up with HR.Monitors all daybed usage and follows up with their cleanlinessSupervise compliance with all legal regulations.Maintain and update all MSDS related materials to remain in compliance.In conjunction with the managers, monitors the payroll and is able to make the necessary changes.Serve as a point of contact for escalated guest concerns and create solutions to problems.Train Beach Team on how to properly attend guests needs.Oversee beach equipment maintenance and cleanlinessBe charismatic and energeticOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.QualificationsEducation / ExperienceThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. At least 2 years of experience with a pool & beach operation.Requirements Physical demands o While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. o Ability to lift at least 75 pounds. Communication o Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers o Must read, write and speak the English language fluently.
