Call Center Operations Human Resources GeneralistThis is an in-office opportunity located at 1025 Bypass Rd, Winchester, KY 40391.The Call Center Operations Human Resources Generalist (CMS Medicare/Medicaid) based in Winchester, Kentucky call center, is responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level to support all employees in the designated office. This position carries out responsibilities in the functional areas of benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, employee leave, and employment law.What We're Looking For:Knowledge of CMS Medicare and Medicaid programs, regulations and benefit structures.Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resource disciplines, specifically employee relations, payroll, and benefits.Foundational understanding and application of customer service.Knowledge of federal and Kentucky state employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.Professional attitude, enthusiastic, and reliable.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.Key Responsibilities:Collaborates effectively with management to ensure HR policies, best practices, procedures, and initiatives are understood and supported.Conducts new hire orientation and processes all new hires and paperwork into HRIS.Maintains employee records, benefits and payroll reports in HRIS.Manages and enforces corrective action processes, terminations, and prepares termination documents/exit interviews.Assists with bi-weekly payroll.Coordinates & conducts benefit enrollments.Conducts and supports workplace investigations.Responds to unemployment claims, garnishments, etc.Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.Communicates and maintains compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.Enforces policies and procedures with management.Comply with all policies and procedures for submitting requests to clients.May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing and collating.Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relations to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to drive departmental and organization effectiveness of the services performed.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.Minimum of 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in an HR role preferably supporting a high-volume call center or similar operational environment.Strong knowledge of federal and Kentucky State employment laws and regulations.Experience with CMS Medicare/Medicaid compliance requirements related to call center operations (e.g., HIPAA) is required.Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and active listening skills are required.Available to work on site at the Winchester, Kentucky location.Successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) background check.Physical Demands and Working Conditions:Primarily, sedentary work in a call center office environment.Requires the ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.Occasional travel may be required.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package Security Information and Physical Security is the responsibility of every employee.
