  • Compensation: $75/hour
  • Location: Pecos, TX
  • Assignment Duration: 12 months+
  • Work Schedule: 9/80 - 40 hours+

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction discipline preferred
  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction within the oil and gas industry
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (NEC, API, etc.)
  • Proficiency in system design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the planning, design, and execution of electrical and instrumentation systems within oil and gas facilities while contributing to the safe, efficient, and compliant installation of these critical systems
  • Collaborate closely with a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals, ensuring that all work adheres to relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed plans for electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Ensure alignment with project objectives, safety guidelines, and operational requirements
  • Supervise installation activities, including cable laying, equipment mounting, and wiring
  • Monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project schedules
  • Implement safety protocols and best practices during installation. Verify compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Work closely with engineers, technicians, and contractors to resolve technical challenges
  • Foster effective communication within the project team
