Overview:

As a member of the Martin's family, you will be responsible for installing, repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems, as well as monitoring plumbing and sewage systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair problems with refrigeration and air conditioning units
  • Maintain, adjust, and repair boilers, heating, and cooling refrigeration systems
  • Read and interpret sketches and blueprints to meet code standards
  • Prepare investigations for proposed changes to plant equipment
  • Develop specifications for new equipment
  • Coordinate plant workers and maintenance activities
  • Manage and coordinate large projects across departments
  • Respond to service requests
  • Adhere to safety and quality regulations
  • Report any issues to the appropriate personnel
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have a High School Diploma or GED with over five years of experience in air conditioning and industrial refrigeration services. Proficiency in HVAC/Plumbing Systems and Welding Practices is required. Additionally, experience with EAM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred. Attendance at Ammonia Operator classes is necessary.

Skills Required:
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities
  • EPA certification
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This role requires physical capabilities such as standing, walking, lifting weights up to 50 pounds, and manual dexterity. The work environment is moderately noisy. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
