Requirements:
Must be licensed to practice oral surgery in Oregon.
Hold Board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
Proficiency with electronic health record systems specifically EPIC/OCHIN
Familiarity with community health practices and integrated care models preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform surgical procedures including tooth extractions jaw surgery and dental implants.
Conduct preoperative evaluations and postoperative care for patients.
Diagnose and treat oral and maxillofacial conditions.
Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists for comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain patient records and documentation of surgical procedures.
Educate patients on surgical procedures recovery and aftercare.
Stay current on advancements in oral surgery techniques and technologies.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures in the surgical setting.
