Associate Director, Market Access And Channel StrategyJoin Takeda as an Associate Director, Market Access and Channel Strategy out of our Cambridge, MA office. Where you will develop and oversee sustainable market access and channel strategies that will ensure assigned products achieve the most optimal access positions for our patients. You will contribute to the development of payer marketing strategies and tactics to support inline and launch brands. You will be responsible for supporting products across GI Rare and Neuroscience franchises.How you will contribute:Support the development of sustainable market access and channel strategies that will ensure assigned gastroenterology (GI) and neuroscience (NS) products achieve the most optimal access positions for existing and future productsEnsures close collaboration with other Managed Markets colleagues along with Medical, HEOR, Marketing, Finance, Analytics and Sales colleagues to capture relevant payer insights, identify data gaps, and develop compelling value propositions for field-based teamsUnderstands reimbursement landscape and incorporates into market access & pricing strategyCollaborates with HEOR in the development of payer evidence needs and ensures it is integrated into the Medical/HEOR evidence planExecutes payer and channel specific marketing plans to achieve patient and business objectivesEnsures brand plans incorporate the needs of patient, payer and healthcare providerAligns organization on metrics to assess impact of key market access strategies and tacticsContributes to annual brand planning, forecasting, and budgeting process to represent payer and channel customer segmentIdentifies, as appropriate, payer/ system specific opportunities for innovative arrangements based on brand strategies in collaboration with Strategic PartnershipsOversees payer and channel market research for relevant productsWorks to actively develop next generation of Market Access and Channel Strategy talentMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field required; MBA, PharmD, or MS in health sciences related field preferred8+ years of experience in biopharma market access, health economics and outcomes research, or directly within a payer organization requiredUnderstanding of US payer market dynamics and how managed care organizations make decisions across commercial and public channelsKnowledge across multiple market channels including payer, PBM, IDN, GPO, specialty pharmacy, etc.Knowledge of specialty pharmacy (how they operate, drivers, strengths, etc.) to ensure a positive patient experienceKnowledge of specialty products preferredKnowledge of the commercial brand planning processesExperience working cross functionally with Medical Affairs, Legal, Finance, Analytics, Public Affairs, etc.Financial acumen including resource allocation, budget management and reporting, strategic sourcing, and P&L evaluationAnalytical capabilities to ensure robust inputs to decision-makingTravel ~10% (domestic)More about us:At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.For Location: Boston, MAU.S. Base Salary Range: $153,600.00 - $241,340.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
