Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Medical Coder at Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants in Clearwater, FL, with flexibility for hybrid work. The Medical Coder will be responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.


Qualifications

  • Coding Experience, RHIT, and Health Information Management skills
  • Proficiency in Medical Terminology and Medical Coding
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC) is a plus
  • Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field
