One of their business units is a leading supplier in their niche and are actively searching to identify a new Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Reporting directly into the Accounting Manager with tons of communication and support to the US Controller, you will assist with the month-end close processes and have full ownership of the inventory process, fixed assets capitalization, and more. They are wanting to offer tons of mentorship and training to this individual as you will have a fast career progression to move up within their organization. Job Description The Senior Accountant will be responsible for: Performs month-end closing procedures and reporting Effectively communicates and coordinates the exchange of financial information to key stakeholders Processes Accounts Payable invoices and maintains supplier contact Performs AP disbursements Reports monthly Accounts Receivable aging reports and maintains aged balances within targets Manages cash application Processes customer invoices and credit memos Maintains customer contact to collect all outstanding payments Manages and reports sales and use tax and tax audit requirements MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
