Job Description for
We are seeking a System Engineer who will become a member of the project team whose goal is to
create a new and unified Global Bill of Materials that is comprised of Engineering Bill of Materials and
Manufacturing Bill of Materials.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with different teams/individuals to understand current Global Design Bill of
· Materials system and related servers.
· Document current system, create system diagram showing connections/data exchange between
· several system’s modules/servers.
· Provide the best solution for a new environment.
· Assist in creating and installing a new system.
· Configure server environment, test and ensure all connections are working properly.
· Create, maintain documentation and installation procedures.
· Coordinate with various departments of Honda for approval of the new system and
infrastructure.
· Proactively ensure the highest level of system and infrastructure availability
· Understand integration between BOM, CATIA and 3D Experience.
· Create Roadmap for current and future system.
Requirements and Skills:
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subjects
· Minimum 5 years of solid working experience with BOM, CATIA V5/V6, 3D Experience, server
· administration and understanding of Windows server operating system.
· Minimum 5 years of solid working experience with different IT teams such as Network,
· Infrastructure, Security/Authentication/Authorization
· Detail-oriented thinking
· Ability to see a “big picture.”
· Strong written and oral communication skills
