Ultimate Staffing is hiring a Sr. Planner in Ontario, CA.

Essential Functions of the Position:

· A good knowledge and understanding of MRP/ERP software systems, AS400 experience a plus.

· Plan and schedule orders to meet On Time Delivery (OTD) for customer orders with 95+%, internal engineering and stock plan demands.

· Good understanding of capacity constraints and effects in planning for production work centers.

· Ensure inventory turnover goals are maintained through planning and scheduling WIP.

· Good organization and communication skills for the tracking of tasks, orders, forecast reviews, changes in capacity and stocking parameters.

· Assure that all activities comply with ISO 9000 and AS9100 procedures

· Ability to plan and schedule ECR's (engineering change requests), change in production processes for new or existing products (legacy), and customer repairs support.

· Manage and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPI's (key performance indicators) to management and the production team.

· Responsible to manage product life cycle from inventory obsolescence perspective

· Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP software (AS4000 preferred).
  • Ability to analyze data and make suggestions based upon the analysis
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) work orders and understand project management process
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years planning/ purchasing experience in manufacturing environment or 10 years with AA degree preferred
