Facility: GSS ND Mandan Sunset Location: Mandan, ND Address: 1011 Boundary Street Northwest, Mandan, ND 58554, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $20.00 - $29.50 Pay Info: $5000 Sign-On Bonus Job Summary The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) is a vital member of our caregiving team, providing experienced care to residents in a long-term care setting. In this role, you will deliver resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities, all under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your key responsibilities will include: Providing assistance with essential health care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility. Documenting resident interactions and reporting any changes in condition to the charge nurse. Supporting residents during meals and ensuring a positive dining experience. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in living areas. Participating in wellness and recreational programs by encouraging resident involvement. Assisting nursing staff with procedures and aiding in collecting vital signs. This role also includes potential leadership in problem-solving, accountability, and engaging with other clinical staff to ensure the highest standards of care. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred. Minimum age of 16. At least two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred. Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. Commitment to ongoing education with 12 hours of continuing education required annually. Ability to complete Restorative Nursing training within 6 months, if applicable.
