Farnsworth Group is seeking a Senior Revit Technician -Structural in one of the below posting locations. In this role you will assist structural engineers by providing building information (BIM) modeling. Posting Location(s) for this role: Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center); Normal, IL; Peoria, IL; Phoenix, AZ; St. Louis, MO Job Activities: Prepare Structural Revit models of buildings of varying types. Prepare Structural construction documents including plans, elevations, details, and schedules. Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines. Perform redline drafting. Read and duplicate existing structural plans for use in building additions or renovations. Assist with onboarding new employees in Revit training. Participate on BIM team coordinating standards with structural team. Participate on Structural Standards Committee, updating structural detail library and standards. Specific Requirements include: Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related degree or combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Proficiency in Revit, with regards to structures, is required. 6+ years of experience with Revit. Understanding of typical structural details. Understanding of structural plans and nomenclature. Ability to start structural models and details with minimal supervision. Ability to visualize and illustrate design in two and three dimensions. Ability to balance several projects at once. Excellent communication skills. Experience with Building Structures preferred. Experience with Navisworks preferred. Revit or Autodesk Certification preferred.
