Senior DevOps Engineer - (AWS, ArgoCD, Kubernetes) - Hybrid in Plano, TX


Optomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment technology company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to fulfill a long-term contract opportunity with a client based in Plano, TX.


We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS EKS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitOps, and scripting skills in either Python or Bash.

  • Assist in designing container-based architectures for the transition of reporting and manufacturing analytics to cloud-based deployments.
  • Promote strong quality control practices through continuous integration and continuous deployment implementations.
  • Work with remote teams to deliver complex and cutting-edge software solutions for a growing business.


Apply today if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Possess a strong expertise in EKS, Kubernetes, AWS, Helm, and GitOps, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Experience with Golang, ArgoCD, Karpenter, Istio Service Mesh or Jsonnet is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), as well as experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
