Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions, focusing on improving their mobility and quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as experience in developing individualized care plans tailored to each patient‘s needs. The Physical Therapist will work in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and home health environments.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and functional abilities.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
* Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and overall function.
* Educate patients and their families about treatment options, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients returning home or moving to outpatient care.
*Experience*
* A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
* Previous experience in outpatient settings is preferred; experience in home health or hospital environments is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to patient care.
* Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation techniques is beneficial.
* Ability to develop effective care plans that address individual patient needs.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
* A valid state license to practice physical therapy is mandatory.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $47.00 per hour
