Create a better tomorrow with usWe are looking for a Senior Project Manager for Electrical Products. This position reports to the Manager, Project Management. The successful candidate will interface with both internal and external customers to execute projects within critical hyperscale datacenter programs. This position is on-site with less than 20% travel required.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Manager will:Manage high complexity, large-scale projectsAccountable for commercial, technical, engineering, and scheduling aspects of intricate/highly technical electrical distribution equipment projectsReview quality documents and submit to project stakeholdersAssist with external facing coordination of equipment deliveries with site personnel including general contractors and electrical contractorsEnsure efficient progression of orders from PO Submittal through on-site commissioningResolve post-shipment issues through prioritization and comprehensive communication strategies and manual line managementCollaborate with entire order value chain to deliver exceptional customer experienceEnsure all required project documentation is submitted according to required timelines and adheres to customer defined specificationsDevelop change order proposals as part of managing the overall projectCollaborate with team members to solve for complex technical design issues and challengesDisplay a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact, complex and/or cross-functional problemsComply with Siemens policies and proceduresQualificationsYou will win us over by having the following:Basic Qualifications:BS in engineering, construction, building construction management, business administration or general business5 plus years of experience in project management or project administration including direct industry (General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Electrical Equipment)Experience with the application and concepts of Electrical ProductsProficiency within Microsoft Office 365Proficiency with PDF editing toolsMust be eligible to work in the US without no sponsorship now or in the futurePreferred Qualifications:BS in engineering or business degreeWorking with construction marketDemonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Electrical productsMaintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including E-mails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documentsMust be highly organized, highly motivated and a detail directed problem solverDemonstrates and applies leadership skillsHigh level communication skills, both verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of project management processesDemonstrate and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skillsQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
