MRI Imaging Specialist

Job Description Summary Join our dynamic team as an MRI Imaging Specialist, where you will utilize advanced MRI technology to conduct high-quality examinations for patients of all ages—from neonates to geriatrics. Your expertise will be essential for producing images that are interpreted by physicians. You will also take on additional responsibilities as needed. Work Environment This position requires working the 2nd shift on weekdays, along with participating in an on-call rotation. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and excellence in patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical MRI and MR Angiography testing, executing general and cardiac studies with precision. Engage in necessary computer interactions to facilitate imaging studies. Work independently to deliver high-quality special imaging. Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. Ensure familiarity with age-specific criteria for patient care. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: A graduate degree from an accredited school of radiologic technology. At least one year of experience in radiologic technology. Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT). Licensure by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or an equivalent organization.
