Part-Time Store Merchandising Associate

Sales Floor Merchandising AssociateIn this role, you will execute sales floor merchandising, pricing and recovery, and deliver excellent customer service.What You'll Do:Execute store merchandising standards following merchandise and visual guidelines for product presentation in a timely and accurate mannerRemerchandise and replenish sales floor as necessary based on sell through and seasonal changes with a focus on customer experienceEngage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and servicesExecute pricing activities (e.g., price changes, sign changes, ticketing) accurately and in a timely mannerPrevent loss by following all product protection standardsSupport and partner with other associates on merchandising incoming productAll associate roles at Kohl's are responsible for:Acting with integrity, honesty and fostering teamwork in an engaged and inclusive cultureExercising good judgment and discernment when making decisions; taking appropriate partners as neededDemonstrating a customer service mindset, anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issuesSupporting point of sale and customer service departments to deliver speed of service transactions while creating a compelling customer experienceMeeting or exceeding individual goals (e.g., productivity, credit, loyalty)Accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframesFollowing company policies, procedures, standards and guidelinesMaintaining adherence to company safety policies for the safety of all associates and customersReceiving, understanding and proactively responding to direction from supervisors/managers and other company personnelOther responsibilities as assignedWhat Skills You Have:Required:Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detailVerbal/written communication and interpersonal skillsNo retail experience requiredMust be 16 years of age or olderFlexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysPreferred:Client facing retail or service industry experienceEssential Functions:Ability to perform the accountabilities listed in the "What You'll Do" sectionAbility to satisfactorily complete company training programsAbility to comply with dress code requirementsBasic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operationAbility to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directedAbility to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the companyPerform work in accordance with the Physical Requirements sectionPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two person liftAbility to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basisAbility to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shiftAbility to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandiseAbility to comply with health and safety standardsPay Range: $17.50 - $25.30Kohl's offers a variety of benefits to associates depending on full-time/part-time status and work hours, including: WORK LIFE BALANCE, HEALTH & WELLNESS, SAVINGS & RETIREMENT BENEFITS, INSURANCE PROGRAMS, and LIFE EVENTS.
