Oracle DBA

Job Description Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to design, implement, and maintain robust Oracle database environments ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance. Required Qualification: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Memphis, TN or Richardson, TX or Hartford, CT or Indianapolis, IN or Raleigh, NC or Tempe, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle DB software and related products. Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and query optimization. Implement and maintain database security, roles, and privileges. Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN and other tools. Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues. Automate routine tasks using Shell, PL/SQL, Python, etc. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing. Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.
