The Business Strategy Project Manager for the Vacation Ownership division of Travel and Leisure will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects inclusive of the owner websites and apps, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and communicating project status to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in web and app program and project management, possess strong organizational and leadership skills, and demonstrate a keen ability to troubleshoot and solve issues. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, defining project scope, managing budgets, tracking progress, leading organizational change management initiatives, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure a high-quality user experience for our clients.


How You'll Shine:

  • Manages implementation of large and complex programs/projects including the development of integrated project plans, timelines, strategic decisions, business and technical requirements to ensure the success of the program/project. Owns and drives the business action and risk log. Coordinates and partners with business and technical product and program management teams on plans, testing, and other items as required. Serves as business project liaison to project team and business stakeholders. Establishes integration plans and resource requirements for each project and works with executive sponsors to provide progress and program status. Creates processes and project frameworks where needed.
  • Leads the organizational change management and business readiness activities for the digital products. Ensures project teams are working across impacted stakeholders, including but not limited to club management, owner services, technology, legal, accounting, sales and marketing, and other areas to identify change and communication needs. Creates business readiness and organizational change plans to ensure the product releases are adopted seamlessly by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinates and leads user testing plans across internal and external users. Ensures plan for releases incorporates dependencies, mitigates risks, and addresses issues. Leads and hosts regular coordination sessions with testers to ensure progress and to remove barriers. Escalates risks and issues to product leadership as needed.
  • Participates in product strategy discussions and helps coordinate road mapping and ideation sessions for both web and app. Serves as the point of contact for the web and app strategy inquiries. Helps support business product strategy team through business case development, product releases, and ongoing product support needs.
  • Performs other duties as required by the team


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in a project leadership role or in project management
  • Project Management training required
  • Change management training preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • Agile certification preferred
  • Six sigma and/or process improvement training preferred
  • Ability and experience working on large cross functional projects
  • Experience working on digital product initiatives, including website and app releases, preference for 0-1 product delivery
  • Ability to lead project management, change management, and business readiness for agile and waterfall delivery methodologies and tools
  • Proven ability to drive large-scale projects or processes consisting of cross-functional teams, with strong collaboration and leadership
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions
  • Capable of conflict resolution and project risk mitigation
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate decisions and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner
  • Understanding of the timeshare industry preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Proficient in project management tools including Microsoft project, Jira, and Confluence
  • Reporting or analytics skills a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in handling cross business unit projects
  • Experience in working with cross brand initiatives
  • Adept presentation skills and facilitating large meetings


Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
