Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to become a key player in our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable web applications using React for the frontend, NodeJS for the middle layer, and MongoDB as the backend. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a balance between hands-on coding and conducting code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, NodeJS, and MongoDB.
  • Dedicate approximately 50% of the time to hands-on coding and development.
  • Spend the other 50% on conducting thorough code reviews for both frontend and backend components.
  • Ensure that all pull requests (PRs) meet the company's coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to developers on improving PR submissions.
  • Lead the effort to maintain and enhance code quality, including refactoring and optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to architect robust solutions.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and propose their adoption where beneficial.
  • Potentially assist in integrating a distributed cache system like Redis into our tech stack.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Proven expertise in React, NodeJS, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with code review processes and static code analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with distributed caching systems, preferably Redis, is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality code and leading by example.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
