At OverCast Digital, we believe that the future of commerce is social.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Director to oversee client relationships and serve as a strategic bridge between the VP of Accounts and our Accounts team. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker and strong communicator who can drive client success, mentor team members, and contribute to the growth of OverCast Digital.As Account Director, you'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that our services align with client goals, exceed expectations, and drive measurable results in the fast-evolving social commerce space with a primary focus on TikTok Shop.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Strategy & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, developing deep relationships and ensuring satisfaction with OverCast Digital's services. Create and implement tailored strategies for client growth on TikTok Shop, leveraging expertise in affiliate management, paid media, shop merchandising requirements, and social commerce trends. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations that align with their business objectives.Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and mentor a team of Account Managers, ensuring they are supported and empowered to deliver exceptional results. Collaborate closely with the VP of Accounts to develop and execute account strategies, resolve challenges, and identify opportunities for expansion. Facilitate communication and alignment between clients and internal departments, including marketing, creative, and operations teams.Performance Management & Reporting: Analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights to clients and internal teams. Develop monthly and quarterly business reviews and presentations to showcase client progress and opportunities for improvement. Proactively identify and address challenges to optimize account performance and maximize client satisfaction.Business Growth: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive incremental revenue and deepen client engagement. Contribute to the development of proposals for new business opportunities.RequirementsLocation: Based in New York.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or a related field.Required Experience6+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related field, preferably in digital marketing, e-commerce, or social media.Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans.Analytical mindset with a strong focus on KPIs, ROI, and performance optimization.Desired ExperienceStrong knowledge of TikTok Shop, social commerce trends, and digital marketing strategies.Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
