As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This position is both armed and requires driving, so you will be responsible for carrying out patrols while equipped and operating a vehicle as needed. You will play a key role in supporting our agile, reliable, and innovative team, delivering exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of integrity and teamwork.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $15.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or suspicious behavior.Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and site leadership.Assist law enforcement and/or emergency responders on site as required, following established protocols.Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting with store personnel and visitors as needed.Minimum Requirements:Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.Possess an armed guard card or license.Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.ClosingAllied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
