Program ManagerThe Program Manager III for IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) Services is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services and integration of individual care plans for supported individuals. They investigate, modify, and adjust care plans as needed. The role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals. This is an exempt, salaried position.RHA Health Services is seeking a Program Manager for the Kingsport Area.Salary: 43,000-45,000 annuallyWork Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p with on call responsibilities.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist the unit Administrator with the development of services and oversight of the unit's operations, including providing direct supervision to designated team membersManage program staff by providing continuous coaching, feedback, and progressive discipline when necessaryAssign caseloads and evaluate performance for quality assuranceManage a reduced caseload and fulfill Program Manager II duties and responsibilities as neededAssign and ensure completion of Program Managers when positions are vacantProject revenue and monitor monthly expenses in conjunction with program goalsMonitor the availability and efficacy of community-based support and other supports required by the programProvide oversight through observation of service provision with people supported, and inspections of the service locationsParticipate in on-call rotation determined by unit needs.Assist in training new Clinicians, Supervisors and DSPs, providing mentorship to ensure the success of the teamMonitor implementation of Personal Outcome Measures to ensure persons supported receive maximum growth and benefit from program designDirect implementation of the Unit Quality Improvement PlanMonitor and participate in completion of chart reviews to ensure assigned reviews are accomplished according to company policy.Execute all available actions to avoid audit citations from state inspection, survey teams, and monitoring agencies.Ensure implementation of a timely and thorough plan of correction for quality assurance audits, life safety surveys, licensure and certification surveys, and monitoring.Facilitate ongoing communication with people supported, team members and RHA leadership, as well as stakeholders, including but not limited to families, legal representatives, state, and local entities, etc.Ensure all services comply with applicable federal, state and agency statutes, administrative codes, policies, and procedures.Supervise and support Program Managers, Group Home Managers, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other staff members.Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.Promote and market programs to funding sources, community agencies, families, and related groups; ensure a timely response to all requests for information, services, and documentationAttend and participate in community and state meetings as needed.Collaborate with ISC's, Conservators/Family Members, Therapists, and members of the clinical management team.Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position may supervise Program Managers I and II, Group Home Managers, Direct Support Professionals, and other clinical positions.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a human services field, healthcare management or general business/public administrationMinimum of 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities requiredWorking knowledge of applicable regulations that apply to our service offeringsValid driver's license and reliable transportation required.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Regularly required to lift 20 lbs.Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.Must be able to pull a minimum of 20 lbs.Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.Required to regularly stand and walk.Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing, and lifting.Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.Must be able to talk and hear.RHA is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, prohibits discrimination based on the following protected categories: race, creed, color, national origin, nationality, ancestry, age, sex/gender, marital status, civil status, domestic partnership status, familial status, religion, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, atypical hereditary cellular or blood trait, genetic information, liability for service in the Armed Forces of the United States, or disability.Pre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
