Branch Manager Sales and ServiceBecome part of the excitement. As a Branch Manager Sales and Service, you will develop and implement business plans that allow the branch and Company to achieve financial and service goals. You will manage all resources within the branch to maximize business relationships with current and potential customers and suppliers. In this role you will:Design and implement programs to maximize return on salesInitiate new and improve existing programs that support the branch in meeting or exceeding financial performance metricsMonitor competitive conditions in the territory, and recommend and implement changes as necessaryMonitor customer service levels, and take action to improve service as neededMonitor inventory levels, and promote the sale of obsolete and overstocked materialOversee preparation of branch budget, and document actual performance via the Branch Steering CommitteeFacilitate resolution of sales, service, and operational issues that arise to ensure branch achieves established objectivesProvide administrative approvals, maintain adequate Branch security, and maintain a safe working environmentManage a large number of employees, and delegate effectively through key positionsMonitor activities to ensure compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures, ensuring that all required branch activities are completed within established timeframesDevelop and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers and suppliersWhat you bring to the table:Minimum 5 years experience required in sales, operations, service, management, or finance6+ years experience preferred: Leadership experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance4 year degree preferredKnowledge of wholesale distribution industry and competitors in assigned territories and of supply chain management principlesKnowledge of the impact pricing decisions have on the profit and loss of the CompanyKnowledge of various suppliers and their respective product linesOral and written communication skillsNegotiation skillsProblem solving and conflict resolution skillsAbility to effectively supervise staff and achieve established branch, district, and Company results through othersAbility to develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to achieve short and long term goals of branchAbility to effectively train and instruct in either a group or individual settingAbility to effectively present Company services and quality standards to customersAbility to handle customer complaints and mediate customer disputesAbility to motivate and influence othersSome travel requiredCompensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $95,000 annually, depending on experience.
