This is a hybrid role - being based 23 days a week in our beautiful downtown Seattle office, located in the heart of the International District, with easy access to the city's best food, culture, and energy.As a Senior P&C Business Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to leaders and team members in the US, Canada and Australia with responsibilities including:Aligning people strategies with business objectives to strengthen culture, engagement, and performance.Acting as the voice of employees and leaders to the P&C teamensuring needs are understood and addressed.Coaching leaders and employees on employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management, change management, leadership development, equity & inclusion.Driving employee engagement by championing P&C programs and resolving issues with professionalism and care.Providing thoughtful guidance on sensitive matters including performance issues, harassment, discrimination, and workplace safety.Applying talent management processes (performance cycles, calibration, succession planning) to ensure fair evaluations, merit reviews, and bonus allocations.Translating P&C data into actionable insights that identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support retention and development.Supporting adoption of P&C programs and tools in areas such as onboarding, engagement initiatives, and career development.Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws through training, policy management, and investigations.Managing employee lifecycle transactions (onboarding, promotions, transfers, exits) for assigned teams.The Details:Location: Seattle, WA (candidates must already be based in the Greater Seattle area). We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
