Maintenance Technician IIThis intermediate level position operates a variety of power tools and other equipment involving physical labor at construction sites in order to assist in the safe and efficient operations of the site.Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile radius of the Morgantown Field Office (1300 Fort Pierpont Dr., Suite 201, Morgantown, WV 26508) to be considered for this position.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinates the controlling of traffic near, in, or around work zonesCoordinates the determining construction material needs, ordering materials and scheduling delivery of materialsCleans or prepares construction sites to eliminate possible hazardsUses portable cement mixers to mix, pour and spread concreteEnsures all codes are followed during construction and material acquisitions by outside sources to meet spec and design criteriaWorks with team members to set expectations and standards for contractor performances and ensure they understand and follow all Expand's environmental, safety and operation standardsPerforms other duties as assignedJob Specific Skills:Knowledge of materials, method and tools involved in the construction of structures such as highways and roadsKnowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of the people, data, property and institutionsAbility to monitor operations and situations to ensure Q/A, QC and compliance with safety policies and proceduresAbility to read and interpret manuals, policies, procedures, permits, governmental regulations, engineering plans, maps, job specifications, reports, and correspondenceAbility to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materialsAbility to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects to equipment or structuresEducation & Experience:Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 6 - 9 years related work experienceAdditional Qualifications:Ability to possess a valid drivers licensesExpand Energy takes necessary action to ensure that all applicants are treated without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, pregnancy, military or veteran status or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
