EVS Specialist

Pride Health is hiring an EVS Specialist for one of its clients in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension with competitive pay and benefits.

Location – Pittsfield, Massachusetts (01201)

Length of assignment – 3 months (Possibility of an extension)

Pay range - $14 - $16 per hour.

Shift – Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Summary

Perform specified routine and on-demand cleaning in and around hospital departments, patient care units, and ancillary areas. Perform minor repairs, moves, and transport of soiled equipment and work in compliance with all safety and other regulations while delivering excellent services to assigned units. All Environmental Services Staff and Leadership are expected and required to adhere to all aspects of the organization's values and Service Standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED - Required
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Proven ability to perform duties and tasks by established standards.
• CPI required for staff assigned to BHU and Emergency Dept (will spend after offer)
• The ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, etc. required
• The ability to read and write English, and to communicate effectively required
• Traveler must have their vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
• Ability to follow instructions,
• Ability to perform repetitive duties.
• Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ability to receive criticism professionally.
