Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job SummaryIn this role, you will play an important part of our world-leading ground handling operation at the Miami International Airport. With a focus on safety and attention to detail, you will be responsible for completing various aspects of ramp service functions, including loading and unloading cargo, aircraft marshalling, and water servicing. This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.ResponsibilitiesYour main job duties may include (but not limited to):Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.Load and unload cargo/baggage on and off aircraft.Safely drive and operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts to pick-up and deliver cargo/bags between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft.Sort and load freight.Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking and related guide man functions.Maintain a secure work environment.Minimum RequirementsHS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.Must be at least 18 years of age.Valid driver's CDL Class A license.This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.Preferred SkillsGood communications and language skills.Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.Physical Requirements/Working ConditionsAbility to work in inclement weather.Flexible to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.Perks & BenefitsAccess up to 50% of earned wages when you need it through myWisely app or the Daily pay appOn the spot awards offered through the Awardco Platform including gift cards and moreMultiple options for both full and part-time employeesTravel Discounts, Pet insurance, Discount Shopping & MoreWellness Programs offered to all employees401k program offered.Opportunity for Internal Mobility and transfers availableWFS is an equal opportunity employer committed to employment equity and inclusion.
