Don't miss out on this chance to join a company that values dedication and hard work.JOB SUMMARY: Oversees and provides direction for the production supervisors and lead persons concerning the day-to-day activities of beef processing operations in order to meet GSF objectives and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Coordinates and monitors day-to-day beef processing/cooked operations, analyzing operations, taking corrective action, providing constructive feedback and monitoring cost and expenses, to achieve meat division and GSF productivity and quality objectives and to ensure compliance with GSF and regulatory agency regulations. (50%)Supervises the daily activities of production supervisors, providing instruction, training and performance feedback to ensure production efficiency and quality objectives are met or exceeded. (10%)Identify and resolve process operational issues, facilitate equipment problems, maintain quality, productivity and safety utilizing available resources (QA/Sanitation/Maintenance Supervisors) (10%)Enforce safety standards and quality procedures to ensure that department and GSF safety rules and quality specifications are adhered to. (10%)Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and productivity by developing new ideas, process improvement, and planning for upcoming equipment or process changes. (10%)Routinely informs and communicates with all meat department resources (Director/Manager/QA/ Sanitation/Maintenance) to promote smooth operations, enhance their understanding of GSF policies and objectives, and to ensure compliance with established production policies and procedures.
