Due Diligence Analyst

Position: Due Diligence Analyst
Location: Downtown Chicago
Salary: $85,000 + bonus
Scope of work includes:
- Perform detailed financial analysis & economic modeling to assess viability & profitability of potential acquisitions
- Analyze historical financial statements & perform market research to verify assumptions used in financial modeling
- Analyze projections of net operating income & cash flow utilizing financial modeling software
- Work on the due diligence & closings of all transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, debt financing & developments)
- Coordinate transaction closings with attorneys & title companies (preparing closing statements & document signing)
- Provide the investment team, lenders & portfolio managers with necessary solutions to maximize value of portfolio & yield favorable results for the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 2 years of related experience (real estate, due diligence, financial modeling)
- Knowledge of Argus & Excel
- Ability to travel 20%
