Title:Infectious Disease Scientist - II Pay: $47/HR Location: 770 Sumneytown Pike, West Point, PA 19486 Qualifications: Minimum degree: BS/BA 6 years; Masters with 4years in a biological science related major. Maximum degree: PHD with 1 year of hands on expertise with required skill set is must. Required skills include Virological assay support, tissue/cell culture and ELISAs. Preferred Skills: GraphPad Prism, Electronic lab notebook Note: • This is 100% lab based onsite role. • Candidate should be fine with Blood borne pathogens titer screening after the assignment has started. Client will be performing the titer test. Responsibilities: We are seeking a contractor to join the Infectious Disease and Vaccines department in the vaccines group. • The overarching goal of the group is to test pre-clinical vaccine candidates in animal models to help advance our viral vaccine programs. • The contractor will be responsible for running ELISAs, viral plaque reduction assays, serum neutralization assays, generating viral stocks, managing internal, external shipments, sample inventory and overall laboratory support.
