What will you do in this role?

We are seeking a candidate who has a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals, experience with SaaS revenue accounting, and a solid understanding of ASC 606. The ideal candidate collaborates effectively with sales and customer success teams while driving process improvement. As a Revenue Analyst, you will be responsible for validating billings and revenue, ensuring the accuracy of invoices and compliance with GAAP guidelines for revenue recognition. This role reports directly to the Revenue Accounting Manager.


The key responsibilities of this role will require you to:

  • Ensure revenue is booked accurately in accordance with GAAP guidelines and compliance with the company’s revenue recognition policies.
  • Support the entire order to cash process including managing invoices, collections, credits, and cash applications timely.
  • Maintain accuracy of the outstanding balance for customer accounts.
  • Resolve outstanding balances or issues as needed, collaborating with sales.
  • Preparation of analyses and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the revenue close cycle (monthly and quarterly).
  • Perform contract analysis review and prepare related revenue schedules to verify subscription contracts have been accurately recorded.
  • Partner with Order-to-Cash cross functional teams to ensure all fully executed agreements are properly processed and accounted for.
  • Maintain documentation for all business processes and compliance related work.
  • Support annual external audit function.
  • Assist with other special projects as needed; drive projects to successful completion.


Who you are?

  • 2-4 years related experience in Revenue / Technical Accounting (compliance with ASC 606).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Software-as-a Service (SaaS) revenue accounting experience and strong knowledge of ASC 606 is desired.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of global quote-to-cash business processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive to be a team player.
  • Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot and V-Lookups).
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite, Zuora Rev, Salesforce.com is a plus.
