Senior SAP Application Security Configurator (GRC / Security)Location: St. Louis, MO – 100% OnsiteDuration: 12-month contractSecurity Requirement: U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance (mandatory)Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior SAP Application Security Configurator to lead and execute SAP User Management and Security activities within a highly regulated environment. This role is hands-on and strategic, responsible for SAP access design, role provisioning, Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance, and SAP GRC security configuration across the full system lifecycle.The ideal candidate brings deep SAP Application Security and GRC expertise, is comfortable operating in an onsite delivery model, and can lead both technical execution and governance activities while mentoring junior team members.Key ResponsibilitiesLead SAP User Management (UM) activities, including role creation, access provisioning, audits, and ongoing access maintenanceDesign, develop, configure, and test SAP GRC security componentsPerform role design and provisioning aligned with SoD policies, internal controls, and security standardsConduct SoD risk analysis, remediation support, and access reviewsSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production cutover, and post-go-live hypercare activitiesLead role design reviews and ensure proper security documentation and audit readinessCollaborate with functional, technical, and compliance stakeholders to ensure secure system designMentor junior SAP Security team members and support planning and delivery activitiesRequired Qualifications8+ years of hands-on SAP Application Security experienceExpert-level experience with SAP GRC and SAP role designStrong knowledge of User Access Management, SoD concepts, and compliance controlsExperience supporting UAT, go-live, and post-production environmentsCompTIA Security+ certificationU.S. Citizenship with active Secret Clearance (required)Ability to work 100% onsite in St. Louis, MOPreferred SkillsExperience supporting SAP security in highly regulated or government-adjacent environmentsStrong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience mentoring or leading junior security resources
