Service Technician (High-End Resi AV, Lighting, Shading, Control)You are: A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.You have: Experience on: construction sites, AV, Lighting, Shading, Control, and Networks. Ability to: climb ladders, use power tools & hand tools, lift 50 lbs. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ. Driving: Valid License, Clean record, reliable transportationYour location: Our Office: 2010 Thomas St Hollywood, FL 33020 (In person. Not remote/hybrid) Our Projects (Your Work): Luxury homes in the surrounding areaYour schedule: Full Time (40hrs/Wk) We do not short your hours Mon-Fri from 8am-5pmYour manager: Wallace, Chief Technology OfficerHEDSouth's core values: Mindfulness Luxury Passion ProfessionalismYour Contribution to HEDSouth:Servicing residential A/V, Home Theater, Network, Control, Lighting & Shading Systems Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents Understanding of wiring and signal flow Troubleshooting Systems (Savant, Control4 (C4), Crestron, Josh.Ai, Lutron QSX) Advanced understanding of networking Advanced troubleshooting of devices Train clients on use of systems Recommend upgrades when necessary Provide excellent customer service Speak English (fluently) & Spanish (preferred)HEDSouth's Contribution to You:$35/hr to $45/hr Yup Simple IRA w/ 3% Match Medical/Dental/Vision: 60% coverage for the individual Gap insurance for medical deductible PTO - 2 after 90 days, 5 after 1 yr, 10 after 2yrs, 15 after 10 yrsHEDsouth provides clients with carefully planned solutions that encompass entertainment, health and wellness, lighting, shades and smart home control throughout Florida.
