Senior AccountantRobert Half is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with experience in Real Estate or Property Management. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the firm's continued success.Responsibilities:Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reportingPrepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsPerform cost accounting functions, including analyzing manufacturing costs and variances, and providing insights to improve cost efficiencyManage inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and inventory controlLead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department managers to develop accurate projectionsPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial guidanceSupervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing training and support as neededAssist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by managementRequirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred5+ years of progressive accounting experience working in Real Estate or Property ManagementStrong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirementsExperience with cost accounting principles and techniquesProficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insightsStrong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality workExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSupervisory experience preferred, with a track record of mentoring and developing staffRobert Half works to put you in the best position to succeed.
