IT Applications Engineer III - Mobile (Android & Java)Location:Greenwood Village, CO or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid - 1 day/week onsite) Salary:$105,000-$133,000 base + up to 8% annual bonus + full benefits Sponsorship:Not availableAbout the Role A confidential organization is seeking a skilledMobile Applications Engineerto focus onAndroid developmentwith some exposure to iOS. This individual contributor role will develop, maintain, and enhancenative mobile applications, collaborating with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, customer-facing mobile solutions. You'll implement scalable architectures, manage mobile build/signing processes, integrate APIs and third-party SDKs, and maintain code quality through automated testing. This position emphasizes hands-on development, problem-solving, and delivering modern, reliable mobile applications.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintainnative Android applications(Java/Kotlin). Implementclean architecture and design patterns(e.g., MVVM) for maintainable and scalable code. Writeautomated UI testsusing Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS) as part of CI/CD pipelines. Manage mobile app builds, signing workflows, provisioning profiles, certificates, entitlements, and build variants. Integratethird-party libraries and SDKs(e.g., Firebase, analytics, location services). Consume and integrate APIs, handling authentication, errors, caching, and retry logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences. Integrate content fromCMS platformssuch as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Stay current with mobile platform updates, tools, and industry best practices. Required Qualifications 4+ yearsprogramming in Java/Kotlin for Android. 2+ yearsdeveloping automated tests using Espresso or XCUITest. 3+ yearsexperience with mobile app signing and build variants. 3+ yearsintegrating third-party libraries or source code. 2+ yearsexperience with CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager preferred). 3+ yearsintegrating APIs/services. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Skills Exposure toiOS development(Swift/Objective-C). Agile/Scrum experience. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand DevOps best practices. Additional Details Must reside inColorado or Georgia(or willing to relocate).
