Director Product OperationsThe pay range is $147,000.00 - $264,000.00. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and design work.The Director Product Management, Product Operations will be responsible for collaborating across multiple functional areas within our global supply chain and stores network to bring new capabilities to life. You will be responsible for improving the strategic alignment and product portfolio health tied to enterprise and Stores strategic functions. You will be responsible for driving cross-portfolio collaboration and leading delivery management across business processes, store operations, product, technology and data sciences. Deliverables will be focused on implementing capabilities that will deliver value tied to agreed-upon business outcomes.Portfolio Management & Delivery Management:Support End to End capabilities across Stores with a focus on Optimization and FulfillmentDevelop strong connection with partners within Stores Product teams, Store Operations and Core Business teams to ensure effective program communicationWork across product / engineering and core partners on sequencing recommendations and stakeholder communicationSupport transition of prioritized programs to other workstream leaders and ensure ongoing ownership and communicationUnderstand and translate key business objectives and strategy of the product, and support communication to the team in partnership with product teamsEstablish metrics and goals in partnership with product, building out key metrics to monitorDrive partnership with analytics to help achieve outcomes and measure key results to improve productsKeep up with industry end-to-end retail trendsAs a Product Operations Director, you will set the overall strategic vision for your Product Operations Portfolio Management and Delivery Management space, are accountable for succeeding against identified business outcomes and metrics, will work with product teams to set, and ensure we are achieving our quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product ops managers while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product and Product Operations teams. You will be responsible to elevate your collective team's performance by providing insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties. You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.About you:Four-year degree or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in product, project and program management, or store operationsAbility to lead and influence a team while fostering relationships across multiple enterprise-wide teamsComfortable working across geographic regionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to maximize relationshipsExperience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teamsStrong communication skills and proven ability to influence both at a strategic leadership level and cross functionallyStrategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs and driving business outcomesThis position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
