Job Title: Shipping Clerk Sheet Metal Fabrication Location: Wyoming, MI Pay: $19-22/hr Schedule: 1st ShiftJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support shipping and logistics operations in a sheet metal fabrication environment. This role is responsible for preparing orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate, on-time delivery of fabricated metal products.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, package, and ship sheet metal parts and assemblies according to customer requirementsVerify shipments against packing lists, bills of lading, and work ordersGenerate shipping documents and labels using shipping software and ERP systemsCoordinate freight pickups with carriers and internal teamsLoad and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes as requiredInspect outgoing products for damage and proper packagingMaintain accurate shipping records and documentationAssist with inventory transactions and staging of finished goodsFollow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized shipping areaSupport other warehouse and shop activities as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrevious shipping or warehouse experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment a plusAbility to read packing lists, bills of lading, and work ordersForklift experience preferred (certification a plus)Basic computer and data entry skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods#TSTRATHPBy providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Talent Strategy regarding your job application, interviews, and employment updates.
