Parking CashierThe Parking Cashier is responsible for cash and electronic transactions with parking customers. The Event Parking Attendant offers assistance to patrons attending the European Christmas Market at the Union Depot. This is an outdoor position that works in the elements, there are no parking booths at this location. Pay: $22.00 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)Basic Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderNo high school diploma, GED or college degree requiredNo experience required; on-the-job training providedPreferred Qualifications:One (1) year of similar experience preferredResponsibilities:Approach and greets all customers in a friendly, professional mannerUse respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concernRelay customer concerns and/or information to shift lead or Operations Manager as necessaryIs quick and responsive to provide excellent customer serviceFollow all company procedures and complies with all safety regulationsIssue and/or collect visitor parking ticketsMatch visitor ticket to parking rate schedule; collects proper payment from visitors and distributes correct changeComplete lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be locatedReconcile receipts, cash, and charges; accurately account for all funds within cashier drawerPerform revenue drops following specific location proceduresMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe work areaAnswer telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, when requiredImmediately report accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift LeadCommunicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammatesA good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
