Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a skilled Nursing setting, providing therapy services to patients across various age groups and medical conditions. This role requires expertise in medical terminology, case management, and occupational health.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and goals
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve patients' physical and mental well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide education to patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises

Skills:

- Experience in inpatient occupational therapy
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Strong case management skills
- Knowledge of medical imaging and physiology
- Background in pediatrics or critical care is beneficial
- Familiarity with speech therapy principles
- Understanding of occupational health practices
