Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?Your RoleThe Senior Manager, Legal Operations will support the smooth running of the Global Legal & Compliance function ("GLC"), serving as primary liaison for HR, Finance, and IT. This critical role will lead Legal Operations including Technology Program management, budget management, outside counsel and vendor management. In addition, this role will manage the legal team comms and HR processes (with HR support).In your daily job you will:Optimization of GLC tools and sitesVendor management and tool implementation (GLC-wide and enterprise-wide)System Administration, User adoption (support and training)Monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting, including data analyticsCompliant invoice approval processesPractice management improvementsEngaging and onboarding Outside CounselRate and discount negotiationsDrafting and publishing Outside Counsel policy, requirements and documentationVendor compliance with Aptiv policies and processesCo-ordinate BillingPoint onboarding (E-Billing tool)Budget planning and management supportMatter budget/vendor budget/accruals supportDevelopment for Tableau Forecast dashboardManagement of vendor PO process for GLC vendorsAddress queries and changes posed by Aptiv Finance and Tax teamsGLC Team Comms: GC team communications, Leadership team meetings, function-wide meetingsKnowledge management: manage GLC SharePoint siteYour BackgroundKey skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:Education: Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degrees preferred5+ years of experience in corporate legal department managementHands on experience with Onit ELM and Billing Point or an equivalent ELM platformProven record of driving technology adoption and operational process improvementStrong understanding of legal operations best practices, matter management and spend controlProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI preferredExcellent project management skillsOnit Matter Management (ELM)Onit/BillingPoint (E-Billing)Onit Legal HoldsVendor experience preferred:NAVEX Ethics PointNAVEX Disclosure ManagerNAVEX PolicyTechNAVEX Code of ConductDiligent (Entity Management)Why Join Us?You can grow at Aptiv.
