Job Title: Maintenance & Machining SupervisorJob Duration: Permanent Job Location: Red Lion, PA -OnsiteSalary: $70K-90k - Yearly2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:30amMaintenance & Machining SupervisorThe Maintenance & Machining Supervisor contributes to the success of the plant by providing day-to-day maintenance leadership and technical support to the Maintenance and Machine Shop crews. In this role, you will lead a team of frontline employees within the maintenance department (mechanics/machinists).What Youll DoEnsure equipment reliability to maximize line productivityIdentify gaps in team knowledge and skills and implement controls to track and improve maintenance and technician capabilityTrack standard maintenance metrics and prioritize plant maintenance opportunities; including MTBF, MTTR, PM completion, corrective work completionEnsure proper utilization of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Develop a team to oversee day-to-day operational issues and achieve short- and long-term performance goalsCommunicate maintenance plans and status across department lines and collaborate cross-functionally to solve maintenance issues and gather resources for supportBuild team capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnelMotivate team members to achieve plan goals and drive performance through KPIs and team evaluationsMaintain hands-on proficiency in a machine shop with manual lathes/mills, band saws, drill presses, surface grinders, and basic CNC operations (drafting/design, setup, offsets, wear tools, workholding, and programming)Administer policies and proceduresPrioritize day-to-day work requests and coordinate with the Planner to adjust as neededBe regularly present on the plant floor, lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and may operate forklift and manufacturing equipmentOccasionally work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snowServe as the technical expert, coach, and resource for maintenance personnel while following established safety guidelines, programs, and procedures; actively work to prevent safety incidentsSupport all established plant and manufacturing goals and objectives; report team progress and any obstacles to managerThis role will require off-shift and some weekend workSome travel (less than 5%)Additional ExpectationsRemain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Kingspan Group Compliance PolicyEnsure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demandsResponsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management SystemRaise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to a supervisor, manager, Leadership Team member, or through the confidential whistleblower serviceWhat Youll BringBachelors degree, US military service, or equivalent experience required; preferably in Engineering, Maintenance, Hydraulics, Machining, Electrical trades, or similar fieldsSupervision experience supporting maintenance or operations (3 years)Experience in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance (5 years)Strong leadership skills with the ability to get and sustain results, build a team, coach, and mentor othersAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingAbility to provide technical leadershipStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting methodologyAbility to build relationships and work cross-functionallyAbility to communicate technical and operational issues clearly and conciselyAbility to plan and prioritize workloadAbility to work in a diverse team environmentAbility to work in accordance with safety, quality, and sanitation standards, policies, and proceduresAbility to work variable shifts to support business needsGood oral/written communication and presentation skillsGood administrative skillsAbility to read/interpret prints, set tolerances, and select/verify toolingCompetencyPrevious experience working in a technical field, mechanical, electrical, or engineering strongly preferredBe a change agent in moving the Maintenance organization to a proactive statusAbility to bring about order from chaosAchieving expected results without close supervision while delivering on identified scope, time, and budgetMechanical experience maintaining equipmentUnderstanding of PLC programming and ladder logicNIMS or equivalent machining certifications; exposure to basic G-code edits and CAM (Fusion/Mastercam) for simple operationsSalary: $70K-90k - YearlyThe specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
