MetroWest Medical Center has been named to the 2019 America's 100 Best Hospitals List by Healthgrades.$15K Sign-On Bonus AvailableOnboarding Process: Please be advised that candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening which includes a drug screen.Position Summary: At the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist, performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.Performs selected tests and measurements as directed by therapist; maintains documentation on all treatments; assures appropriate equipment performance prior to each use.Position requires every other weekend and every other holiday commitment.Qualifications:Education Required: Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant, Active U.S. military service members, or veterans with any military service, training, or education verified and credited by an accredited OTA program is acceptableExperience Preferred: 1 year of experienceCertifications: Required: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by AOTA. Licensure, as required by State law.Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
